About Huaqing Hot Spring
Xi'an Huaqing Hot Spring, located on the eastern foot of Lishan Mountain, is a hot spring area with a long history. It is said that the hot springs were discovered in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The area was first developed as a tourist destination in the 1930s. Xi'an Huaqing Hot Spring covers an area of about 8 square kilometers. There are more than 30 hot springs in the area, with water temperatures ranging from 28 to 74 degrees Celsius. The main attraction at Xi'an Huaqing Hot Spring is the Tang Dynasty Palace, which was built in the 1930s. The palace was used as a resort by the imperial family.
