Xi'an Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum is a museum located in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China. It is dedicated to the Terracotta Army, a collection of earthenware figures of warriors and horses that were buried with the First Emperor of Qin (221-210 BC), to protect him in the afterlife. The museum, which is located about 30 kilometers east of the city of Xi'an, was built in 1979 and covers an area of 16,000 square meters. It contains three exhibition halls, a conservation workshop, and a souvenir shop. The museum is open every day from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Admission is ¥60 for adults and ¥30 for children.
