Upper Town (Gornji Grad)

Zagreb Upper Town (Gornji Grad) is a medieval section of Zagreb, Croatia, located on the hill of Gradec. It was fortified in the 12th century and became the royal town in the 15th century. Gornji Grad is one of the most beautiful and well preserved medieval towns in Europe.
