When you hear Delhi, you are reminded of the cornucopia of history, street foods, street shopping, and, obviously, the magnificent display of architecture. Located in the northern part of India, the city still celebrates its long and rich history since the Mahabharata. It was first mentioned in the Mahabharata as Indraprastha, the capital of the Pandavas, and in the Ramayana as the capital of the kingdom of Dasaratha.

The city was first founded by the Tomar dynasty in the 8th century CE. The Tomars were followed by the Chauhans, then the Delhi Sultanate, and soon replaced by the Mughal Empire. It was in 1911 when Delhi was made the capital of India until now.

The city is layered with so much ancient history and culture that you will be beguiled as to where to start from. Each lane and each house capture and celebrate history, transporting you to a bygone era. Don't worry, we've got your back and are making these trips the best they can be for you.
