En route, marvel at the grandeur of Umium Lake (Barapani), a pristine water body where you may indulge in various water sports at your own expense.

    Upon reaching Shillong, check into your hotel. In the evening, take the opportunity to explore Police Bazaar, the largest traditional market in the area, bustling with vibrant stalls and local eateries. Settle in for your first night in the cosy confines of your Shillong accommodation.

    Cherrapunji invites you to immerse in its natural beauty with visits to several breathtaking locations. Begin with the Eco Park, followed by the Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), and explore the mysterious depths of Mawsmai Cave.

    Also visit Thangkharang Park, Dainthlen Falls, and the awe-inspiring Nohkalikai Falls. The day promises a visual feast with the Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Overnight in Cherrapunji.

    Depart Cherrapunji after breakfast and head towards Guwahati. En route, stop at the captivating Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak for some last-minute memories of Meghalaya’s scenic beauty. Upon arrival in Guwahati, check into your hotel. In the evening, explore Kalakshetra, a cultural institution that offers insights into the diverse traditions of Assam. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

    Following breakfast, check out from your hotel. Before concluding your journey, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, a significant pilgrimage site, open from 08 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. After soaking in the spiritual ambience, you'll be transferred to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
