Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1

Hotel Day 1: Bagdogra Airport to Thimphu - Pickup , Immigration and Transfer

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative. After a brief introduction and assistance, you will begin your journey towards Phuentsholing. Once at the Pedestrian Terminal, you will complete immigration formalities to obtain your inner-line permit. The journey continues through scenic mountain roads towards Thimphu, which takes approximately six hours. En route highlights: Visit to Kharbandi Gumba Stopover at a picturesque waterfall Once in Thimphu, check into your pre-booked hotel. After freshening up, take some rest. In the evening, enjoy a stroll through the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts bazaar. Discover unique Bhutanese arts including hand-woven textiles, thangka paintings, wood carvings, and traditional jewellery. Overnight stay in Thimphu (Altitude: 2,320m).

Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan. After breakfast , you can start your local sightseeing at Thimphu by cover these places below. Info Day 03: Thimphu to Punakha - Excursion

After morning Breakfast , transfer to Punakha from Thimphu which takes approx 3 hr one way. On the way, I cover the places below for sightseeing. After sightseeing, drive back to Thimphu. Later visit :- Dochula Pass The Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan on the road from Thimpu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as "Druk Wangyal Chortens" have been built by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother. Apart from the chortens there is a monastery called the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang (temple), built in honour of the fourth Druk Gyalpo (head of the state of Bhutan), Jigme Singye Wangchuck; the open grounds in its front yard is a venue for the annual Dochula Druk Wangyel Festival. The pass with 108 memorial chortens is adjacent to the country's first Royal Botanical Park. Later visit :- Chimi Lhakhang The Chimi Lhakhang, situated on a hillock in the centre of the valley, is also known as the temple of fertility. It is widely believed that couples who do not have children and want one, if they pray at this temple, they are usually blessed with a child very soon. A walk through the village near the temple will give you rare glimpses into the daily life and lifestyle of the villagers. Punakha Dzong It was built in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, at the junction of the Phochu and Mochu rivers. This majestic dzong served as both the religious and the administrative center of Bhutan in the past. It measures some 600 by 240 feet and has a six-story, gold-domed tower. Inside are courtyards and religious statuary that hint at the depth of history and spiritual tradition embodied here. Punakha Suspension Bridge White River rafting (activities with own cost ) Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu. (Altitude 2,320m)

Info Day 04: Thimphu to Paro - Transfer & Paro Local Sightseeing

Approx Distance: 50 Km • Est. Travel Time: 1 hour 30 minutes After Morning breakfast ,check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro which is only 2hrs drive approx.Cover some Paro local sightseeing parts at Paro. Evening leisure in the main town by walking and taking a rest. Overnight stay at Paro hotel ( Altitude 2200m) - sightseeing places to visit - Rinpung Dzong , National Museum of Bhutan , Bhutanese Traditional dress center ,Paro Airport eye view point .

Info Day 05: Paro - Tiger's Nest Monastery Hike

Est. Travel Time: 7 hours After an early breakfast, Taktsang Monastery it may take 6 hr (to n fro). Suggest to take a hot Stone bath & Spa after trekking for body relaxing and take a rest .Evening free for exploratory walk around Main Street and market area by walking. Tiger Nest Monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang) is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious site. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. This temple is one of the most holy sites in the kingdom. It is believed that Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew to this location from Tibet on the back of a tigress from Khenpajong. This place was consecrated to tame the Tiger demon, was first built in 1692 at a cave where Guru Rimpoche meditated in a cave. In order to arrive at the temple you must trek for around 2-3 hours through beautiful, shady pine forests that are colorfully festooned with moss and prayer flags. • Taktsang Monastery(Tiger's Nest Monastery Trekking) Hot Stone Bath & Spa (Activities with own cost) Kichu Lhakhang Paro Local Market by walking Evening free for leisure.
