There is no specific local food in Dibru saikhowa national park. However, the local people in the area mainly depend on agriculture and fishing for their livelihood. They grow rice, maize, millets, pulses, oilseeds, and vegetables. They also catch fish, crabs, and other aquatic creatures from the river.
