Travellers from India who are going abroad can now be relieved as the CoWin portal is going to allow users to link the vaccination certificates to their passports. International destinations are seeking vaccination certificates as a proof of vaccination, and linking an individual’s passport number to it is an ideal step. "Now, you can update your passport number in your vaccination certificate", the official handle of the Arogya Setu app tweeted . Check for more guidelines on how to update or correct their passport details for vaccination certificate online.
Guidelines :
- Visit the official website www.cowin.gov.in, and login with your credentials.
- Find an option that says, raise an issue, select there.
- Click on the passport option and select person from the drop-down menu.
- There you enter your passport number, and submit the details.
Then you will get the new updated certificate after completing the steps. Further you can made changes related your name if it doesn't match.
- This should further help travellers to travel internationally more easily.

It should also be noted that this process can only be done once. So you can only enter your passport number, and request a name change once. This is why it is important to ensure that there are no mistakes done during the process of correction, and update.
