About Cubbon Park

Cubbon Park is a public park located in the heart of Bangalore, India. Spread over 300 acres (1.2 kmĀ²), it is one of the largest parks in India. The park was created in 1864 when the Chief Commissioner of Mysore, Sir Mark Cubbon, set aside land for recreational use by the British residents and their families.
