Paragliding

There is no accommodation available at the paragliding site. However, there are several options for stay in the nearby town of Kamshet.

Medical fitness is a term used in the Indian Armed Forces to denote the medical state of a soldier. A soldier is considered medically fit if he is free from any medical condition that would render him unfit for military service.

Some safety tips to follow while travelling to Kamshet are as follows: -Always carry a copy of your passport and visa with you, in case you need to show them to authorities. -Keep your belongings close to you and do not leave them unguarded. -Be aware of your surroundings and be cautious when travelling at night. -Do not accept food or drinks from strangers. -If you are travelling in a group, stick together and keep an eye on each other. -Avoid travelling to areas that are known to be unsafe.

From Mumbai, take NH-4 to Pune. Take the Pune-Satara exit and drive towards Satara. Take a left turn at the junction in Kamshet and drive uphill for about 10 km. The take-off point for paragliding is about 2 km from the village on the right.
