History of Jewish Synagogue
The history of the Kochi Synagogue is not well documented. It is believed to have been constructed in 1568 by the Jews who had migrated from Spain. The synagogue is said to be the oldest in India and is also one of the few synagogues in the world that still has its original roof.
Architecture of Jewish Synagogue
There is no one definitive answer to this question as there are many different styles of synagogue architecture around the world. However, many synagogues are designed with features such as a large ark or cabinet where the Torah scrolls are kept, a bimah or platform where the rabbi leads services, and a menorah or candelabrum.
