About Park Arboretum

Sochi Park Arboretum is a botanical garden in Sochi, Russia. It is located on the territory of the Sochi National Park. The arboretum was founded in 1931 as the Sochi Experimental Garden. In 1957, it was renamed the Sochi Park Arboretum. The arboretum is divided into two sections: the lower section, which is open to the public, and the upper section, which is used for research purposes. The lower section contains more than 1,000 different species of plants, including over 350 species of trees. The upper section contains over 5,000 different species of plants, including over 2,000 species of trees. The arboretum is open from 9 am to 7 pm from May to October, and from 9 am to 5 pm from November to April. Admission is free.
