The Ca' d'Oro (House of Gold) is a palatial Gothic-Venetian palace on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. It was built in the 15th century by the Gondi family, one of the richest in Venice, and has been the home of the Doge of Venice, the head of the Venetian government, since the 16th century.
