The Sariska Tiger Reserve is the first in the world to successfully relocate tigers. It used to be a hunting area before being designated as a nature reserve in 1955. Mountains, scrub-thorn desert woods, dry boreal forest, and grassland make up this area. In 1978, it was declared as a tiger reserve, becoming part of India's Project Tiger. The animal sanctuary was established in the year 1990. Sariska Tiger Reserve is a place with many architectural and natural attractions to see, as well as a variety of other activities.
• Safari- You can enjoy an amazing safari in the national park and witness the real beauty of tigers. Along with a safari, you can enjoy bird watching. There are 220 species of birds that can be seen. While on safari, you can also explore the Kankwadi fort in the national park.
• Temples- The Neelkanth temple is located on a remote mountain in the Sariska Tiger Reserve. The temple, which dates from the sixth century, houses a collection of erotic statues. The temple, which is identical to Khajuraho, is a popular tourist destination. Pandupol Hanuman Temple is another temple in the national park. This site is near a waterfall and has a strong mythological link to the Mahabharata epic. Many people come to this location for some tranquil time in the natural environment, and it is also wonderful for photography.
Best time to visit- November to March is the best time to visit. Although the national park is open all year, wildlife visitation is closed from July to September due to the monsoon.
