On the way, stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a cherished sanctuary dedicated to caring for orphaned and injured elephants. Witness these majestic creatures as they roam freely, bathe in the river, and engage in playful antics an unforgettable highlight of your trip. After this memorable experience, continue your scenic drive to Kandy. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel and unwind in the comfort of your room. Take time to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. End your day with a restful nights sleep, marking the perfect start to your enchanting Sri Lanka vacation.

After breakfast, dive into the city’s charm with a visit to the iconic Temple of the Tooth—a UNESCO World Heritage site and a must-see.  Then, stroll through the lush greenery of Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. From there, it’s time to hit the road toward Nuwara Eliya. Along the way, we’ll stop at the stunning Ramboda Falls, Sri Lanka’s 11th tallest waterfall—don’t forget your camera! To top it off, we’ll explore a Tea Factory, where you’ll learn how your morning cuppa comes to life (and yes, tea tasting is included). Overnight stay in a hotel at Nuwara Eliya.

Fuel up with breakfast, because today’s a mix of thrill and chill! First, we’re off to Kitulgala for some epic white-water rafting—splash, paddle, repeat. Then, it’s onward to Bentota, where we’ll explore the serene Madu River and visit the Turtle Hatchery to meet baby turtles. The day ends on a sandy note at Bentota Beach—you can try water sports like banana boat rides or parasailing if you’re feeling adventurous! Finally, unwind in your hotel. Overnight stay at Bentota.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the bustling city of Colombo, a lively blend of modernity and history. Begin with a stroll at Galle Face Green, a half-kilometer-long oceanfront promenade that offers refreshing sea breezes, street food delights, and the perfect setting to soak in the coastal vibe. Next, visit Vihara Mahadevi Park, Colombo’s largest and oldest park, renowned for its sprawling greenery and colorful flower beds. The National Museum is a must-see. It’s the largest museum in Sri Lanka and houses a fascinating collection of artifacts, including royal regalia, ancient manuscripts, and stunning statues. Afterward, visit the grand Twin World Trade Center Towers, Colombo's iconic skyscrapers, and be sure to capture a selfie with the cityscape in the background. A visit to the Fort District and Independence Hall at Independence Square offers a glimpse into Colombo’s colonial past, featuring majestic buildings and monuments that tell stories of Sri Lanka’s journey to freedom. Finally, indulge in some retail therapy at Colombo's vibrant shopping areas, where you can find everything from high-end brands to local handicrafts.  

Savor your last breakfast in Colombo before you head to the airport for your flight back home. With a bag full of memories (and maybe some spices and tea), it’s time to head back home.
