The Jim Corbett National Park is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. It was established in 1936 as the Hailey National Park, named after Jim Corbett who played an instrumental role in its establishment. The park was the first national park in India and is now a World Heritage Site. The park is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, and is spread over an area of 520 square kilometers. It is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including Bengal tigers, leopards, elephants, and deer. The park can be accessed by road from the town of Ramnagar, which is located close to the park entrance. There is also an airport located close to the park, which can be accessed by helicopter.
