Vedvyas

The Rourkela Vedvyas Shivratri Mela is an annual Hindu religious festival celebrated at the Ved Vyas temple in Rourkela, Odisha, India. The festival commemorates the Hindu god Shiva and is celebrated on the night of the 13th day of the month of Phalguna (February/March) in the Hindu calendar.

Rourkela is a city and a municipality in Sundargarh district in the Indian state of Odisha. It is the largest city in Odisha and the third largest city in the eastern region of India after Kolkata and Bhubaneswar. Rourkela is the administrative headquarters of Sundargarh district. It is also the home of the prestigious National Institute of Technology, Rourkela.

By Car From Bhubaneswar, it is about 204 km and takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes. From Kolkata, it is about 657 km and takes about 10 hours.
