Bhutan is a beautiful, small landlocked country located in the eastern Himalayas. It is bordered by China to the north and India to the south. This mountainous country covers an area of only 38,394 km2, making it the second smallest country in Asia, after the Maldives. Despite its small size, Bhutan is one of the most diverse countries in the world, with a wide range of cultures, languages, and religions.

Bhutan is often called the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" due to the many thunderstorms that occur in the country. The official name of the country is the "Kingdom of Bhutan". Bhutan is a constitutional monarchy, with the king as the head of state.

Bhutan is also known as "The land of happiness". The Gross National Happiness (GNH) index is used to measure the happiness of the people of Bhutan. The GNH index takes into account not only economic indicators, but also social and environmental indicators. In 2012, the World Happiness Report ranked Bhutan as the happiest country in the world. Isn’t it amazing?

One of the reasons for Bhutan's high level of happiness is its strong sense of community. Bhutanese people are very close-knit and often live in extended families. They are also very generous and hospitable, and always eager to help their neighbors.

Another reason for Bhutan's happiness is its beautiful natural environment. Bhutan is a land of mountains, forests, and rivers. It is home to some of the world's most pristine forests and some of the highest mountains in the world. The Bhutanese people have a strong connection to nature and many of them still live in traditional villages, which are surrounded by forests and mountains.

Bhutan is also a very religious country. The main religion is Buddhism, which is the official religion of Bhutan. Bhutan is the only country in the world where the majority of the population is Buddhist.

Despite its many advantages, Bhutan is not a perfect country. One of the main problems facing Bhutan is its lack of development. Bhutan is one of the poorest countries in the world and has a very low GDP per capita. Bhutan also has a high level of poverty and a large number of people who do not have access to education or health care.

Regardless of its problems, Bhutan is a country of happiness. The people are friendly and hospitable, the natural environment is beautiful, and the country is home to many important Buddhist sites. Bhutan is a country that is worth visiting and experiencing the happiness that comes with it.

There are many things to do in Bhutan, from hiking and camping to visiting ancient monasteries and experiencing the local culture.
