About Himalayan bird park The Himalayan Bird Park is a bird park located in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. The park is situated on the Ridge at an altitude of 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) above mean sea level.
The Himalayan Bird Park was opened to the public in 2006. The park is spread over an area of 5 acres (2.0 ha) and is home to over 260 birds of 55 species. The park is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The park is maintained by the Forest Department of Himachal Pradesh. The park is visited by over 10,000 tourists every year.
