About Murshidabad district museum Murshidabad Museum is a district museum in Murshidabad district, West Bengal, India. The museum is located inside the Hazarduari Palace, which is also known as the Nawab's Palace. The palace was built by Nawab Nazim Humayun Jah in 1837. The museum was established in 1984. The museum has a collection of paintings, sculptures, coins, manuscripts, and other artefacts from the Murshidabad region. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
