About Deoria Tal
Rudra Prayag is a small town in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated on the banks of the river Alaknanda, one of the five main tributaries of the Ganges River. The town is located in the Deoria district, and is approximately 135 kilometers (84 miles) east of the state capital of Lucknow. Rudra Prayag is a pilgrimage center for Hindus, and is home to the Kedarnath Temple. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, and is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in India. The town also attracts pilgrims visiting the Badrinath Temple, which is located in the nearby state of Uttarakhand. Rudra Prayag is a small town with a population of approximately 15,000 people. The town is home to a number of small shops and businesses, as well as a few hotels and guesthouses.
