About Shillong Peak
Shillong Peak is the highest point in the state of Meghalaya in northeastern India at 6,449 feet (1,966 meters) above sea level. The peak is located in the East Khasi Hills district, about 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the state capital of Shillong.
