Activity Day 3 National Botanical Gardens

Planted more than 100 years ago, the vibrant flora housed within the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens provides a pop of color to a vacation mostly spent on white sand. Stretching out along 5 acres of Mont Fleuri — on the southern outskirts of Victoria — the botanical gardens offer visitors an up-close look at Seychellois wildlife. In addition to the towering palm, spice and fruit trees found here (not to mention the aromatic blooms found in the orchid house), you're bound to come across animals like giant tortoises and members of the garden's fruit bat colonies.
One previous visitor offers some advice on how to make the most of your visit: "[E]njoy the uniqueness of the place but for goodness sake put loads of bug spray on […] we all got bitten badly."

Activity Nature trail - Copolia

The first part of the walk is a descent through sandy secondary forests of cinnamon and rubber trees. As the trail climbs higher, many interesting endemic and indigenous plant species can be encountered. It is also the habitat of Seychelles’ endemic birds such as: the Seychelles Bulbul, Blue Pigeon and Sunbirds. The exposed glacier with lack of soil and harsh condition has its special vegetation of endemic plants, including the vacoa (pandanus multispicatus) and the infamous pitcher plant (nepenthes bervillei). From the top, the views are magnificent over the east coast of Mahe, the islands of the St.Anne National Marine Park, and beyond to Praslin and La Digue islands.

If you are wondering what to see in Mahe Seychelles that can please the soul of a nature lover, head to Mission Lodge. Mission Lodge Lookout is a very popular vantage point that offers mesmerizing panoramic views of the beautiful coastline and verdant rainforests.

This ever-charming site is famous for being visited by Queen Elizabeth II, who inaugurated this lodge and enjoyed a cup of tea here back in 1972. During your visit to Mission Lodge Lookout with your family and friends, sit under the shade of a gazebo and enjoy your picnic lunch after the hike. You can also take a serene walk through the fruit trees and enjoy birdwatching.

Discover one of Mahe’s most difficult-to-find locations during this private hike to the Ros Sodyer rock pool. Your guide takes you on a short hike to reach the pool, then you have time to jump, swim, and enjoy the cool waters before heading back. Beautiful location for taking some pictures and sit under the sun for a little.Nice harbor with fishing boats, pleasure boats, and excursion craft, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, and the stone break wall completed by a lighthouse.

Activity Day 6 Le Jardin Du Roi Spice Garden

Way better than the botanical garden in Victoria! There are so many more plants to see with description of the name and function of every single plant. Very beautiful to stroll around while also learning some new things. There is even a little rainforest path! I very much recommend the garden, just avoid the restaurant if you dont want to have extremely overprized food.

Activity Half Day Cruising and Snorkelling in Baie Ternay marine park

You will be able to snorkel for about 1h30 in the Baie ternay marine park. The marine park is situated inside a bay and is always protected from strong current making the snorkeling conditions excellent most of the time. You will be able to observe lots of colorful fishes and if you are lucky you might spot a sea turtles and rays. If you wish, you can swim to a close-by secluded beach (Anse du riz), relax and have a walk on the beach and discover a hidden mangrove behind the beach.
