  • By Air: Air travel to Jaipur is the easiest way to reach the city. The Jaipur airport at Sanganer,is just at a distance of 12 kms from the city. I
  • By Train: You can even travel to Jaipur by train such as Shatbdi Express, it connects Jaipur to many cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jodhpur, Ludhiana , etc.
  • By Bus: This is undoubtedly a very economical option for people who have a tight budget. The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) runs regular Volvo (air conditioned and non air conditioned) and deluxe buses between Jaipur and  and other cities within the state.

Bikaner is in the northern region of Rajasthan. It’s also called the Camel City for it’s home to one of the world’s largest camel research and breeding farms. There is an age old temple in the city, dedicated to Karni Mata at Deshnok, known as the Rats Temple.

How to reach Udaipur
By Air: The Maharana Pratap Airport, also referred to as Dabok airport is at a distance of 24 km from Udaipur. There are regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, etc.
By Train: There are two railway stations in the city, Udaipur City Railway Station and Rana Pratap Nagar Railway Station. They are well connected to all the major cities and are at a distance of about 3 km from the city centre.
By Road: Udaipur is between Delhi and Mumbai at the intersection of NH8,Golden quadrilateral, East west Corridor and NH 76. You can travel to the city either from Ahmedabad through NH8 or from Jaipur via the Golden quadrilateral.

By Train:
The city has a very organised railway system that is connected to most of the cities with major trains like “Delhi Jaisalmer Express”, “Jodhpur Jaisalmer Express”and “Howrah Jaisalmer Express".
By Bus:

By Air: The city does not have an airport, the nearest airport is in Udaipur, which is about 185 Km away from Mount Abu.
By Train: Mount Abu does not have a railway station either. The nearest railway station is on Mount Abu road and is 28 km away from the city. It’s connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.
By Road: Dilwara temples which is one of the attractions here, are about 3 km from the main city center,you can asily get autos and cabs to take you to the temples. Or you can even hire a cab for an entire day, it will take you to various sightseeing points in the city. But other than Dilwara temples the rest can easily be covered by foot. You can even go in  for shared rides that are offered by autos and cabs from the city center to the temple.

Pushkar, a small temple town, is at a distance of about 15 km from Ajmer in Rajasthan. Pushkar Mela which is held every year in the month of November in the city is supposedly one of the biggest camel fairs in the country. Also known for the world’s only dedicated Brahma Temple. It is essentially a pilgrimage site for Hindus.
Pushkar Camel Fair: It’s held every year in the month of November, at the time of Kartik Purnima full moon. It’s apparently one of the most popular fairs, which is held on a huge scale, attracting thousands of camels, horses and cattle and visited by over 4,00000 people over a period of 14 days.

  • Ideal time to visit Pushkar: Ideal time to visit the place is between October to March. During this time the weather is pleasant and it’s also considered the peak season.
How to reach Pushkar:
By Air: The city does not have an airport, the closest airport is the one in Jaipur, which is well connected to practically all the cities within and outside India. Even though International flights have usually routes through Mumbai or Delhi.
By Train: Pushkar has a railway station, but only intra-state trains stop there. The nearest station is Ajmer and train from metro cities and far away destinations connect to Ajmer. This station is half an hour away from Pushkar by road.
By Road: The city or most of it can easily be covered by foot and that makes it all the more enjoyable. The streets here are very tiny, you cannot possibly deal with the problem, driving around in a car and looking for a parking every 2 minutes as you explore the streets. If you are travelling by car, it’s best to park it somewhere near the main market and cover the rest of your trip on foot.

Pushkar Lake (it’s a sacred spot for Hindus, during the month of Kartik October/November the place is flooded with a large number of devotees to take a dip in the lake), Brahma Temple, Varah Temple, Man Mahal, Rangji Temple, Savitri Temple, Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Naga Pahar, Rose Garden.
